This Privacy Policy explains how Mintobook Technologies Inc. (“Mintobook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Mintobook (the “Service”).

1. Who we are
Mintobook Technologies Inc. operates Mintobook, a social networking and property marketplace platform.

2. Information we collect
Account and profile data: email, password (hashed), name, username, date of birth, gender, country, city, phone numbers, bio, photos, social links, and other profile fields you choose to provide.
Content you create: posts, stories, reels, comments, messages, listings, pages, spaces, media uploads, and similar User Content.
Marketplace data: listing details, seller/agency profiles, inquiry messages, and purchase or package information if you use paid features.
Usage and device data: IP address, browser/app type, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP or settings, log data, and interactions (such as likes, follows, views).
Cookies and similar technologies: used for sign-in sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and improving the Service. See our Cookie Policy at https://mintobook.com/cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Support communications: messages you send to support, and related diagnostic information.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
• Create and manage accounts, profiles, and marketplace identity;
• Show content, recommendations, and country-scoped feeds or listings;
• Enable messaging, notifications, and email alerts you choose;
• Process payments and fulfill paid features through payment partners;
• Moderate content, prevent fraud/abuse, and enforce our Terms;
• Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety;
• Communicate product updates, policy changes, and service notices.
5. Your choices and controls
You can update many profile and privacy settings in the Service (including who can see parts of your profile, messaging preferences, and email notification preferences).
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by using account tools or contacting support. We may need to verify your identity and retain some data when required by law or for legitimate business needs (for example security logs, dispute records, or backups).
You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using unsubscribe links where provided. Service and security notices may still be sent.
6. Retention
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Stories are designed to expire after a short period (for example 24 hours), though copies may briefly remain in backups or logs.
When you delete content or your account, we aim to remove or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, subject to the exceptions above.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong unique password and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
8. Children
Mintobook is not directed to children under 16 (or a higher age required where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, you may have rights under GDPR or related laws (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection). Contact us to exercise those rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If California law (such as CCPA/CPRA) applies, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” as defined by that law. We do not sell personal information as commonly understood. Contact us to make a request.
10. Marketplace note
When you publish a listing or seller profile, information you include (such as phone, WhatsApp, address, or photos) may be visible to other users according to your settings and listing configuration. Share only what you are comfortable making public for property transactions.
Mintobook is a platform connecting users. Verify counterparties and documents independently before completing any transaction.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy at https://mintobook.com/privacy and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or email.
Continued use after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
