Account Suspension & Termination Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This Policy explains when Mintobook may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts or access to features. It supplements our Terms of Service (https://mintobook.com/terms) and Community Standards (https://mintobook.com/community).

1. When we may take action

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for reasons including:

• Violations of Terms, Community Standards, Marketplace Rules, or other policies;

• Fraud, scams, fake listings, impersonation, or security abuse;

• Harassment, hate, child-safety risks, or illegal content;

• Repeated spam, evasion of prior enforcement, or coordinated inauthentic behavior;

• Legal requirements, court orders, or credible risk of harm;

• Extended inactivity where permitted, or unpaid obligations for paid features.

2. Types of action

Actions may include content removal, reduced visibility, temporary feature limits (posting, messaging, listing), temporary suspension, permanent termination, or blocking of related accounts created to evade enforcement.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate permanent termination without prior notice when reasonably necessary.

3. Notice

Where practical, we may notify you of enforcement via email or in-product notice and provide a high-level reason. We may withhold details when disclosure would risk safety, compromise investigations, or break the law.

4. Closing your account

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion through available settings or by contacting support. Some records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Appeals

If you believe an action was taken in error, follow the Complaint & Appeals Process at https://mintobook.com/appeals.
